This successful school had outgrown its existing hall and was struggling in cramped accommodation.

PolkeyCollins designed the new school hall and Kitchen link as a sensitive extension to the existing building on the edge of the conservation area and negotiated the project through the planning process. The new Hall and Kitchen has allowed the school to fully meet the government’s requirements for the provision of meals for the pupils and to prepare the food on site.

The development has also been configured to allow use of the Hall by the wider community to create better integration.
